About the position

In this role, you will lead interactions with multiple offices including principals, directors, managers, and others to effectively support marketing strategy. You will assist the Associate Director with staffing initiatives and lead marketing teams in department-specific projects and programs. Utilizing dashboards and reports, you will aid in load leveling within the department and collaborate within the same marketing department to improve and unify marketing processes and procedures. Additionally, you will collaborate with other marketing departments on special projects and lead branding best practices. Your responsibilities will also include facilitating lessons learned and actions to improve process efficiency, tracking trends and monitoring marketing metrics, and participating in professional development activities such as continuing education, seminars, classes, and/or professional organizations. You will mentor and engage in regular performance feedback for junior and mid-level marketing members, translating strategic marketing initiatives into actionable items for them. Furthermore, you will manage and oversee junior and mid-level marketing members, review RFPs to determine alignment with local office and company goals and objectives, and establish, implement, and facilitate strategic proposal marketing materials locally, regionally, and nationally. You will apply your experience and best practices in proposal team management to ensure the timely delivery of proposal submissions that are fully compliant with solicitation instructions, oversee the production of standard and customized proposal marketing materials for cohesive branding efforts, and follow up on pending submittals to determine wins and losses.

Requirements

  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or similar required
  • 8 years of sales or marketing experience required, experience in marketing or design in the fields of architecture, engineering, and/or construction preferred
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) and demonstrated ability to use standard software applications such as Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, internet applications, and social media platforms
  • Strong communication, writing, editing and grammar skills
  • Ability to collaborate, energize, and engage creative processes in teams
  • Comprehensive understanding of general marketing process and research methods
  • Ability to analyze marketing trends and metrics
  • Experience managing teams to inspire, engage, and inform members to meet established goals
  • Valid driver's license required if driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary
