The position will be instrumental in planning, executing, and optimizing our presence at local events, trade shows, and other strategic gatherings. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing successful events from conception to completion, driving brand awareness, generating leads, and fostering customer engagement. This individual will be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills, a creative approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Identify, research, and evaluate potential local events, trade shows, conferences, and other opportunities for participation.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and other teams to define event goals, target audiences, and key messaging.
  • Develop detailed event plans, including budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and logistical requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection and vendor management.
  • Develop and execute post-event follow-up campaigns in collaboration with the sales team to nurture leads and drive conversions.
  • Track and report on lead generation performance and ROI for each event.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to internal and external teams.
  • Train and brief internal staff participating in events on messaging, lead capture, and best practices.
  • Assist in translating business needs into analysis designs providing insight, knowledge and understanding of customers, products and industries.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong focus on event marketing.
  • Proven track record of managing successful events from conception to completion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a creative approach.
