About the position

This is an expert level professional role requiring in-depth knowledge and expertise in product management. The position involves providing strategic input and advice for activities in other business areas, acting as a Subject Matter Expert for product-related inquiries, and integrating broader organizational context into advice and solutions. The role requires solving complex problems, conducting market analysis, and supporting product profitability analysis. The individual will also be responsible for developing and maintaining customer and employee-facing documentation, conducting impact assessments, and recommending strategies to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first level strategic input and advice for activities in other business/functional areas.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for product-related inquiries.
  • Review and recommend product details for customer collateral.
  • Integrate broader organizational context into advice and solutions.
  • Solve complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables.
  • Conduct forecasting and modeling activities to support planning.
  • Support the development and implementation of training material.
  • Conduct impact assessments when changes affecting products are proposed.
  • Act as an escalation point for customer, process, or operational issues.
  • Liaise with various partners and stakeholders in the resolution of issues.
  • Recommend solutions to improve product, pricing, service, and/or process.
  • Conduct ongoing industry and competitive analysis.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or product management certificate.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in channel/distribution, finance, control partners, or technology.
  • Proficient knowledge of product research, analysis, and development.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
  • Skill in using analytical software tools and data analysis methods.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
  • Experience in conducting product profitability analysis.
