About the position

As a Senior Product Designer II, Segmentation at HubSpot, you will have a significant role in shaping the future of segmentation by transforming the foundational Lists product into a powerful, AI-enabled audiences platform. This position allows you to co-own a significant part of the product, driving its strategy and vision while collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams. You will work autonomously, focusing on customer experience and using the Trellis design system for efficient processes. Your role is critical in integrating segmentation with personalization, automation, and CRM, ensuring a cohesive platform experience.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create a shared strategy, vision, and cohesive roadmap for the future of the product area in partnership with product management and engineering peers.
  • Drive alignment, set goals, and motivate partners and team members.
  • Understand customer needs to build compelling journey scenarios, information architecture, interaction flows, and visual designs.
  • Work autonomously with customer experience in mind, utilizing the Trellis design system.
  • Collaborate closely with researchers and content designers to create, refine, and iterate on new and existing experiences.
  • Mentor other designers and contribute to growing HubSpot’s UX team and culture.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering successful, intuitive products.
  • Ability to balance scope, speed, and quality to achieve outcomes.
  • Experience in owning the end-to-end design process, from leading discovery to producing high-fidelity screens.
  • Strong collaboration skills with partners, leaders, and teams.
