About the position

This Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for Boston Scientific's Electrophysiology (EP) Product Portfolio, with a focus on Global downstream marketing and commercialization for the FARAPULSE product family. This includes an emphasis on inventory management, business analytics, pricing, market research, and developing and implementing marketing campaign initiatives to drive brand preference among the EP community. This person is an experienced marketer of highly technical and clinical products and demonstrates strength in franchise management, product launches, commercialization, and a high level of business acumen. This is a hybrid position based out of our Arden Hills, MN location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement downstream marketing strategies for Boston Scientific's FARAPULSE platform; specifically focusing on FARAWAVE and FARADRIVE
  • Use classic marketing capabilities to further business objectives, such as market understanding, market segmentation, customer targeting, product positioning and message development
  • Develop product messaging and materials for effective product promotion
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Manage UPN conversion for FARAWAVE and FARADRIVE globally as we iterate products in the market
  • Think strategically about pricing and programs to increase our FARAPULSE footprint in the US market
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to identify new opportunities and drive product differentiation
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional partners to drive marketing initiatives forward

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical device experience
  • Analytical skills and ability to craft business plan
  • Downstream marketing experience (i.e. product management, sales engagement and campaign)
  • Experience with determining customer needs within medical device markets
  • Willing to travel up to 30% (possibly international)

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree such as Master's or MBA
  • Electrophysiology experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects
  • Demonstrated success working as an integral cross functional team member
  • Ability to develop clinical expertise in medical devices
  • Sales experience
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
