About the position

A growing FinTech company in the mortgage space is seeking a Senior Product Manager to support the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and executive leadership in shaping and evolving the company's product offerings. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with experience in both B2B and B2C financial services, particularly in the mortgage or banking industry. The company initially focused on educating first-time homebuyers but is now expanding its revenue streams through new financial product partnerships. The Senior Product Manager will play a critical role in identifying market opportunities, refining product strategy, and executing on initiatives that drive revenue and user engagement. This role offers a dynamic startup environment where adaptability, creativity, and a data-driven approach to product development are key to success.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CPO and CEO to refine the product roadmap and prioritize strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and revenue opportunities to develop and enhance financial products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product execution.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new financial product offerings, ensuring alignment with customer acquisition and retention goals.
  • Explore and integrate third-party financial services partnerships to enhance revenue potential.
  • Leverage data analytics and customer feedback to iterate and optimize product offerings.
  • Contribute to the development of B2B and B2C strategies, ensuring a balance between institutional partnerships and direct-to-consumer engagement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in FinTech, mortgage technology, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, financial services, and customer financial health solutions.
  • Experience working in both structured corporate environments and fast-paced startup settings.
  • Proven track record of launching and managing successful B2B and B2C financial products.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate market insights into product strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a focus on revenue-driven product decision-making.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience working in a high-growth FinTech startup.
  • Familiarity with lead generation, financial advising tools, and digital banking platforms.
  • Experience with data-driven product development, A/B testing, and performance optimization.
  • Exposure to mortgage origination, underwriting, or financial advisory processes.
  • Strong preference for candidates based in Virginia or St. Louis, though open to remote candidates with relevant expertise.
