About the position

This position is for a Senior Product Manager located at 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066. The role involves defining vision and strategies for a product family, utilizing domain expertise and best practices to identify market opportunities, build business cases, and approve objectives. The Senior Product Manager will conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand emerging trends in the retail industry and translate these opportunities into e-commerce and omni-commerce strategies. The position requires driving the product lifecycle from requirement definition to launch efforts, managing product roadmaps, and developing and enhancing products. Collaboration with engineers, data scientists, and user experience researchers is essential, as is conducting customer research to inform the product roadmap. The role does not involve supervising employees.

Responsibilities

  • Define vision and strategies for product family.
  • Identify market opportunities and build business cases.
  • Conduct industry and competitive analysis.
  • Translate opportunities into e-commerce and omni-commerce strategies.
  • Drive product lifecycle from requirement definition to launch efforts.
  • Manage product roadmaps using techniques such as the RICE Model.
  • Analyze customer and product data to turn insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key business partners.
  • Conduct customer research to define customer segments and needs.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the same fields and 5 years of experience.
  • Experience developing products and systems.
  • Experience creating and conducting psychological research and analyzing results.
  • Experience analyzing market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Experience in corporate retail.
  • Experience using Design Thinking to build strategic business cases.
  • Experience defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience analyzing large volumes of data using Tableau, Excel Macros, and Excel Solver.
  • Experience applying Agile Methodologies and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
