About the position

Our Education team's mission is to inspire and empower the next generation to be lifelong creators. Our Creative Cloud tools enable student creators to express themselves, show the world what they can do, and develop marketable skills for their futures. As a Product Marketing Manager for the Education team, you will be responsible for driving growth and marketing strategies for the student business of Creative Cloud. You are a full stack marketing athlete with skills across customer insights development, analysis, strategy creation, cross-functional team leadership and coordination, and program execution. Your day-to-day responsibilities may vary; you can flexibly jump from one priority and need to another. As a top-tier marketer, you have deep appreciation for the next generation of customers, are data-driven, and proficient in marketing frameworks, channels, and tactics. You are well-versed in different areas of marketing and can flex to various key initiatives and strategic priorities relating to the student audience. You have strong cultural awareness and understand and excel at establishing relationships and credibility across diverse teams. You understand subscription models and are a self-starter with strong initiative. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding how best to reach the student audience and craft compelling strategies that drive engagement and units.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze behavioral metrics, market/competitive data, and customer research to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive and conduct primary customer research as needed.
  • Analyze financial and customer data, create Excel models to evaluate opportunities, identify action plan priorities, and create written business cases.
  • Develop marketing and messaging strategies to reach the next generation of creators across ages 18-25.
  • Evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work with product, marketing and sales teams to execute strategies and programs.
  • Drive execution of specific marketing programs, as needed.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in B2C product marketing; experience with strategic consulting, subscription-based models and/or education background preferred.
  • Deep analytical skills, demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues.
  • Keen ability to evaluate alternatives and make compelling recommendations based on solid business case analysis.
  • Self-motivated, execution-oriented, resourceful - willing to roll up one's sleeves to do whatever it takes to get it done.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • Growth mindset.
  • Excellent sense of humor.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA from top 10 universities preferred.
