About the position

The Product Strategy and Operations team reports into our VP of Product Strategy. The main objective of the team is to help our Product and Engineering organization function at scale. We do so by establishing consistent cross-functional practices and frameworks, executing programs & projects to enable teams to manage their tasks with low friction, as well as facilitating and aggregating business, customer, and market data & insights. We are looking for an expert in the field of project management and program implementation. Success requires the ability to structure and manage large programs across departments specifically within Product & Engineering, the ability to manage stakeholder needs, drive alignment and prioritization, and deliver executive level communications. This is a high visibility, high impact role responsible for leading and coordinating the execution of Celonis's most important Product and Engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Designing new processes and performing analysis on implementation models
  • Develop and maintain strategic cross functional programs across multiple workstream and stakeholders
  • Design and optimize ways of working to define and mean deliverable deadlines
  • Create presentations, perform financial analysis, use common project management tools and provide executive communications
  • Assist teams in setting priorities and leverage data and analytics to manage tradeoffs
  • Define roles and responsibilities, track resource needs and manage escalations
  • Be flexible, excel when faced with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Have a bias for acting now - then iterate

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a consulting, project management or an operations role preferably at an enterprise SaaS company
  • 4+ years of experience in running complex projects with multiple stakeholders, aggressive schedules, and scarce resources (preferably in a software company)
  • A proactive, analytical and collaborative mindset, coupled with strong communication skills
  • Domain experience in roadmap planning & tracking process, ideally has implemented & led the roadmap & strategy planning process in a comparable software company before
  • A passion for creating and implementing new processes
  • Operational rigor and track record of cross-functional stakeholder project management and execution
  • Excited about providing clarity in the face of ambiguity and working in a dynamic environment that comes with being part of an innovative hyper-growth company
  • Understanding of the interdependencies between the internal and external processes in a software company.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Not a requirement but a plus is a PMP or Six Sigma certification
