About the position

The Senior Regional Marketing Specialist (SRMS) plays a critical role in accelerating Wealth Enhancement’s growth by delivering high-impact marketing strategies and execution across a defined territory. This role blends relationship management, strategic planning, and hands-on marketing implementation to support advisor teams in achieving their growth objectives. Working closely with Regional Practice Management team, Marketing Activation Specialists, and the broader Marketing team, the SRMS serves as the lead marketing partner for advisor teams—bridging local needs with firm-wide initiatives. This position is ideal for a proactive, creative, and relationship-driven individual who thrives on inspiring advisors, piloting new solutions, and embracing AI tools to drive smarter, more scalable marketing. This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates in central, mountain, or pacific time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage annual marketing plans and budgets for advisor teams, aligned with our models, firm-wide goals and regional strategies.
  • Partner with Regional Practice Management and Marketing Activation Specialists (as needed) to deliver a coordinated support experience.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to integrate brand campaigns, digital tools, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Monitor key growth metrics (client acquisition, retention, referrals) in Salesforce and other dashboards; adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Track and report budget use and vendor effectiveness across all advisor teams in territory.
  • Pilot and scale AI-driven tools and content strategies to improve efficiency and personalization.
  • Foster deep, trusted relationships with advisor teams, understanding their goals, growth levers, and market dynamics.
  • Educate advisors on marketing models, tools, programs, and campaigns that support their client and prospect engagement strategies.
  • Identify advisor success stories and translate them into best practices to share across the organization.
  • Serve as the day-to-day marketing contact for advisor teams, coordinating with corporate functions to remove barriers and unlock growth.
  • Support M&A transitions by partnering with onboarding teams to engage new advisors early and set the foundation for success.
  • Coordinate regularly with Regional Practice Management team to prioritize growth opportunities and align advisor support in territory.
  • Engage in structured collaboration with Marketing Activation Specialists to drive consistency and reduce duplication (where needed for teams on + models).
  • Represent advisor marketing needs and opportunities in cross-functional forums and Organic Growth team initiatives.
  • Contribute to the design and enhancement of scalable marketing programs that reflect field feedback and data insights.
  • Contribute to Organic Growth team meetings, sharing results, tools, and strategies that are working within your territory.
  • Embrace and evangelize the use of AI tools to automate tasks, personalize outreach, and track effectiveness.
  • Take ownership of key marketing projects that further elevate the advisor experience.
  • Participate in team-wide campaigns, strategic pilots, and the roll-out of new client offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of marketing experience; financial services preferred.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales/advisor teams and marketing departments.
  • Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable learning and applying new technologies; AI tool experience a strong plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; presentation experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel 4–6 times per year.
