About The Position

The New York Hilton Midtown is searching for a Senior Restaurant Operations Manager to join the team! This 1800+ room property is opposite the Museum of Modern Art and is surrounded by both subway and bus lines, with Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Central Park. Grand Central Station, Broadway, and Times Square are all within walking distance! This role will be responsible for the oversight of the hotel's restaurant operations (primarily Herb N' Kitchen), reporting to the director of restaurants and overseeing two food and beverage managers.

Requirements

candidates should be available to work both AM and PM shifts as needed, any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

minimum of two years multi-outlet management experience, with hotel food and beverage experience overseeing a union team highly preferred

Responsibilities

Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation, including scheduling, payroll, and designing menus.
Implements effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs.
Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules, and evaluates
