About The Position

The Salesforce Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions that support key business processes. Reporting to the Head of CRM, this role will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s Salesforce capabilities by delivering high-quality technical solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive Salesforce development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable, enterprise-level applications. This role is located in St. Louis, MO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications (required).
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, and OmniStudio.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, trigger factories, and middleware solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce org assessments and code refactoring.
  • Experience in enterprise class orgs and bulk transactions.
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps tools, version control, and CI/CD processes.
  • Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Understanding configuration vs development assessment methods.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Analysts, and Stakeholders to understand process and requirements with the ability to translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce applications and integration solutions with a focus on process and end user experience optimization.
  • Advanced Apex, and Lighting Web Component programming experience including design patterns, limits and bulk patterns, trigger handling & frameworks, asynchronous operations, integration patterns, and effective unit and bulk testing.
  • Build and maintain system integrations using APIs, middleware, and third-party applications.
  • Ensure data integrity, platform security, and system performance through effective development practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to associate developers.
  • Estimate the level of effort to implement a solution based on business and technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, development standards, system designs, and integration designs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Stay current on Salesforce platform updates, key practices, and emerging technologies.
