Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and QA counterparts on functional design and analysis of requirements
• Design and develop a product in a metadata-based development environment
• Develop and maintain robust, efficient and maintainable code using an OO language and support tools
• Build and enhance reliable automated tests
• Resolve customer reported issues
• Learn from other team members through pair programming, code reviews, technical reviews, hackathons and shared communication tools

Requirements

• 8+ years experience with Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service); UML is a plus
• 5+ years of OO design and development experience in an object oriented language such as Java, C#, etc. (knowledge of ERP systems, HR or Human Capital Management is a plus)
• Experience designing/developing business applications
• Prior experience writing automation code unit/system test is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of design and analysis of software for performance
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience

• Experience with XML and Integration technologies
• You feel the key to good object oriented development is strong design patterns
