Responsibilities
- Be a key technical leader, supporting the team by breaking down complex engineering problems, advocating for best practices, and guiding others.
- Maintain efficiency by ensuring the team delivers high-impact work efficiently and empowering them to make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate across disciplines with leaders from various areas to plan and deliver enhancements across the product suite.
- Foster Agile practices by actively participating in Scrum ceremonies and maintaining a strong team culture.
Requirements
- Strong technical proficiency with extensive experience in full-stack engineering and cloud-based systems/services.
- Technical coaching experience, comfortable translating requirements and guiding other Engineers through implementation.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset, willing to collaborate with others to achieve the best outcomes.
- Mentor mentality, believing in the multiplier mindset and enjoying helping fellow Engineers hone their skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Professional background in C#, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, MongoDB, and AWS.
- Experience with media at scale, familiar with technologies such as video encoding and on-demand rendering.
- Passion for sports, with an interest in the sports world or experience with sports technology.
- Familiarity with hybrid teams, having worked with remote or hybrid teams before.
