About the position
As a Senior Mobile Developer working remotely on Shipt's Member Mobile App team, you will be focused on building a world-class mobile experience for Shipt marketplace consumers and architecting reliable, performant and scalable React Native solutions. While no day will look the same, you will work with a cross-functional crew composed of app, web, and backend engineers, a product manager, a designer, and an engineering manager. With this group, you'll tackle projects from discovery to launch, delivering extraordinary features to our customers across the nation. You will participate in data-driven approaches to conduct experiments and iterate upon capabilities. You will be working hands-on with React Native, React Context, NodeJS, React Query, Typescript, GraphQL, CircleCI, Bugsnag, Amplitude, and Detox. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for code reviews, guiding design discussions, participating in release processes, and providing mentorship to other team members.

- Build a world-class mobile experience for Shipt marketplace consumers.
- Architect reliable, performant, and scalable React Native solutions.
- Work with a cross-functional team to tackle projects from discovery to launch.
- Participate in data-driven approaches to conduct experiments and iterate upon capabilities.
- Conduct code reviews and guide design discussions.
- Participate in release processes.
- Provide mentorship to other team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years developer experience, with 2+ years of React Native experience.
- Experience with native packages and complex package upgrade is a bonus.
- Experience with testing; unit, integration, e2e, etc.
- Strong collaboration with Design and Product to consistently ship projects and enhancements.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts concisely.
- Experience with code review to maintain and advocate for best practices.
- Demonstrated ability of constructive feedback, guidance, and support to other team members through mentorship.
- Experience leading technical efforts to improve app maintainability, stability, and performance.
- Version control / Github.
