About the position
This position is not available for visa sponsorship or relocation assistance. The role involves participating fully in the software development life cycle for large, complex projects. You will design, build, and produce software solutions independently, conduct team and project planning using Agile methodology, and support troubleshooting and fixing issues as part of a broader software development team. Additionally, you will work with and lead onsite and offshore delivery and operations teams, provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance, and establish metric-driven goals while reporting status, risks, and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders. This position may require availability outside of standard business hours as part of a rotational on-call schedule. You will also develop and maintain a QA Platform utilizing .NET and C#, and utilize JavaScript for front-end development.
Responsibilities
- Participate fully in software development life cycle for large, complex projects
- Design, build and produce software solutions independently
- Conduct team and project planning using Agile methodology and structured delivery processes
- Collaboratively support, troubleshoot and fix issues as part of broader software development team
- Work with and lead onsite and offshore delivery and operations teams
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance; motivate others to achieve shared aspirations
- Establish metric-driven goals and report status, risks and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders
- This position may require availability outside of standard business hours as part of a rotational on-call schedule
- Develop and maintain QA Platform utilizing .NET and C#
- Utilize JavaScript for front end development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of technical experience in software development
- At least 2 years of experience with full lifecycle development using Agile methods
- The ability to estimate accurately and deliver high quality software on time
- The ability to effectively communicate across organizational functions
- The ability to effectively plan, organize and measure progress toward goals and objectives
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, JavaScript
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
