Senior Software Engineer

About the position

The Software Engineer works to develop and automate systems and software to accommodate complex manufacturing processes that provides real solutions. A Software Engineer addresses the entire software development lifecycle including analyzing the needs, designing, testing and developing software in order to meet those needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code that interfaces with digital controls for production processes.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Information Systems, Software Engineering or Equivalent Years Experience.
• 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• VB.NET experience required.
• MS SQL Server experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Significant experience in a related field may be substituted for the education requirement.
• Microsoft Access experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
