Senior Software Engineer

About the position

As a software engineer for Maritime and Strategic Systems, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for the Design, Development, and Test of a Strategic Deterrent System. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: 10+ years of experience, Ada experience desired. Systems engineering experience (generating test cases, executing tests, requirements analysis). Leadership experience (SW management, planning and scheduling of resources).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software for Strategic Deterrent Systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Lead the software development life cycle and apply technical standards and methodologies.
• Generate test cases and execute tests as part of systems engineering.
• Plan and schedule resources for software management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
• Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance required at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience with Ada programming language.
• Leadership experience in software management.
