About the position
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development for the Tag Inspector product. This role involves overseeing the back-end code base, fixing outstanding bugs, and updating APIs for integration with third-party systems. The engineer will build new features as part of the company's product roadmap and will be involved in the full R&D cycle for new Tag Inspector capabilities, as the company tests market fit for these new features. Additionally, the engineer will learn the big data architecture of Tag Inspector to explore different ways to improve the platform.
Responsibilities
- Working directly on front-end and back-end web development for Tag Inspector.
- Overseeing the back-end code base, fixing outstanding bugs, and updating APIs for integration with third-party systems.
- Building new features that are part of the company's product roadmap.
- Coding and implementing ideas.
- Conducting full R&D cycle for new Tag Inspector capabilities.
- Learning big data architecture of Tag Inspector to explore different ways to improve the platform.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 months’ experience as Software Developer, Graduate Research Assistant, or a related software development position.
- University coursework including internship and/or experience must have included: IBM cloud, MySQL, Oracle, PostgresSQL, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, Apache Spark, Flask, Numpy, Pandas, PySpark, and RESTful APIs.
