About the position

Join a team that provides cutting-edge solutions for world-class projects. Infienon is made up of passionate, smart, energetic people who will challenge and inspire you every day. Do you want to be part of something exciting and unique? Join Us!!! In your new role you will develop and test power electronics systems including motor drives, inverters and DC/DC converters. You will create and optimize PCB layouts using tools such as Cadence Allegro and Altium Designer. You will perform simulations using Spice, MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or Simetrix to validate circuit behavior and system performance. Additionally, you will assemble, troubleshoot, and test high-power setups involving power supplies, electronic loads, power analyzers, thermal cameras, dynamometers, and high-voltage/current probes. You will design, simulate, and evaluate circuits for power electronics applications, characterize semiconductor devices (e.g., MOSFETs) using industry-standard methodologies and equipment, and create datasheets and performance metrics. You will conduct competitive benchmarking of MOSFETs within 3-phase inverter systems, DC/DC converters, and motor drive control schemes (e.g., FOC, trapezoidal control for BLDC and induction motors). Documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations clearly and thoroughly is also part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians across cross-functional teams to support product development and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test power electronics systems including motor drives, inverters and DC/DC converters.
