About the position

At Webflow, our mission is to bring development superpowers to everyone. Webflow is the leading visual development platform for building powerful websites without writing code. By combining modern web development technologies into one platform, Webflow enables people to build websites visually, saving engineering time, while clean code seamlessly generates in the background. From independent designers and creative agencies to Fortune 500 companies, millions worldwide use Webflow to be more nimble, creative, and collaborative. It's the web, made better. We are seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to join our team and help businesses of all sizes discover, use, and grow with Webflow. You will elevate and launch intuitive experiences that highlight the platform's value, enabling seamless adoption of powerful features. Your role involves collaborating across teams to strategize, explore, validate, and build solutions that enhance Webflow's platform. This entails a deep dive into data, user funnels, and building flows and tools that cater to diverse team sizes and roles. You'll also be responsible for creating the systems and best practices that enable all product teams to scale a cohesive experience that builds user trust. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of launching user-centric products, operating at both strategic and tactical levels, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams and product areas. This person should be equally comfortable defining long-term vision and sweating the details of design execution, and excel at distilling complex, technical concepts into simple and highly crafted experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ambitious, strategic design initiatives focused on user activation, expansion, and monetization across Webflow's WXP platform.
  • Own and articulate a compelling vision for intuitive and delightful experiences that streamline onboarding, boost adoption, improve conversion rates, and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Brand, Marketing, Sales, and Data.
  • Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate innovative concepts to validate hypotheses and clarify strategic directions.
  • Elevate the overall quality, consistency, and trustworthiness of Webflow's growth and monetization touchpoints.
  • Act as an influential thought leader, informed by qualitative and quantitative user research, competitor strategies, and emerging trends.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience influencing and leading complex initiatives in a remote environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Previous experience with software that empowers professional or technical users.
  • Familiarity with the web design industry, content management, web standards, and accessibility.
  • Bias towards action working on complex products at a high growth, scaling company.
  • Attention to detail to ensure that products continuously exceed customer expectations.
  • Strong growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity.

Benefits

  • Equity ownership (RSUs) in a growing, privately-owned company.
  • 100% employer-paid healthcare, vision, and dental insurance coverage for full-time employees and their dependents.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave for both birthing and non-birthing caregivers.
  • Flexible PTO for all locations and sabbatical program.
  • Access to mental wellness and professional coaching, therapy, and Employee Assistance Program.
  • Monthly stipends to support work and wellness.
  • 401k plan or pension schemes in countries where statutorily required.
