Responsibilities

  • Perform all phases of software development: requirements, design, implementation, verification, and release, which include manufacturing testing and support.
  • Develop C/C++ applications, including those in embedded environments.
  • Develop C#/C++/CLI user interface applications.
  • Work closely within a small development team to troubleshoot development & production environments, performance tune, and optimize embedded systems.
  • Conduct reviews and critique other engineers designs.
  • Work in a team environment that encourages respectfully receiving and giving constructive criticism.
  • Review codes to ensure accuracy and act as advisor and checker for junior engineers.
  • Develop and execute test procedures.
  • Develop supporting design documentation.
  • Provide regular status reports, written and/or verbal, to cross-functional project team members.
  • Keep knowledge of all NeuroLogica products up-to-date.
  • Required to wear dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation emitting devices.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science and Engineering.
  • 5+ years of working experience in medical imaging industries or equivalent industries, especially in architecting designing and developing control software for complex electro-mechanic systems.
  • Proficient programming skills in C/C++, C#.
  • Experience in Git and Collab.
  • Proficient understanding of basic core concepts within computer science.
  • Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Experience writing multi-threaded applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with clinical teams and customers.

  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to management.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, take charge of project responsibilities, and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced, and fluid environment.
  • Excellent with technology, able to present using a laptop computer, and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office package, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; as well as Outlook and Internet Explorer.
