About the position

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be at the heart of our brand's online presence. You'll create, manage, and execute social media content across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and delivering impactful results. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on social media experience who is excited to grow their expertise in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Social Platforms: Track and monitor all social media channels for potential issues or opportunities and escalate as needed.
  • Editorial Calendar Management: Stay up-to-date with the editorial calendar (found in Airtable/Socialite) and ensure that content is posted on time and according to plan.
  • Content Preparation & Posting: Prepare and post content on social media platforms with extreme accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal channel managers and the Creative Studio team to ensure assets align with branding guidelines and are accurate.
  • Social Media Expertise: Maintain expert-level knowledge of all available social media formats and offerings to ensure posts are optimized for each platform.
  • Campaign Reporting & Insights: Create detailed reports to analyze content performance, highlighting trends, engagement levels, and key insights for improvement.

Requirements

  • Social Media Experience: At least 1 year of experience posting content for a brand or client with a social media following of at least 50,000.
  • Platform Knowledge: A solid understanding of the differences between in-feed posts, IGTV posts, and IG Reels on Instagram, as well as content best practices across other platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
  • Content Posting Skills: Proven experience posting videos and still images on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Attention to Detail: Experience in roles where extreme attention to detail is essential, ensuring content is perfect before publication.
  • Basic Photo Editing: Ability to perform minor photo edits using Adobe Photoshop, Gimp, or similar editing tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Larger Brands: Previous experience posting for brands or clients with a social media following of at least 100,000.
  • Understanding of Asset Ratios: Knowledge of required asset ratios for posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for optimal viewing.
  • Content Performance Analysis: Experience pulling content performance reports and making data-driven recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
