The Oracle's Government, Defense, and Intelligence org is seeking consultants that have a passion for software development supporting a number of exciting customers facing engagements. Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems and feel comfortable working directly with customers on innovative internal development teams. This role is an integral part of an elite team with diverse skill sets that design and deliver unique solutions that integrate a wide variety of Oracle commercial hardware, software, and cloud technology into secure, mission critical solutions for our government customers. Coding skills are required. As part of the consulting team, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple projects and customers, share your knowledge and insights, learn the latest and greatest technology innovations, and have the freedom and autonomy to put your creative technical talents to work. Individuals applying should have experience leading small development teams of junior and middle grade developers.
Requirements
- Must currently hold and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly.
- 4-6 years solid python experience with associated code documentation
- 2-6 years functional Linux experience (not basic skills, but rather nearing high-moderate proficiency)
- Demonstrated experience with testing frameworks - creation, utilization, and modification over time while coding (junit, etc)
- 4-6 years DevOps experience and principles associated with infrastructure as code (ansible, terraform, kubernetes, etc)
- Cloud proficiency / active use of cloud technology, compute shapes/instances and when one should be used over another, networking knowledge as it relates to the cloud best practices
