About the position

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop algorithms in the process of implementing new features. Implement features in Xcode using Objective-C, Swift, and JavaScript. Write automated Unit and UI tests. Set up local testing infrastructure and continuous integration system. Work with designers to define the UI/UX. Maintain code for macOS, iOS, and Web platforms. Perform code reviews. Fix existing and new defects in software. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms in the process of implementing new features.
  • Implement features in Xcode using Objective-C, Swift, and JavaScript.
  • Write automated Unit and UI tests.
  • Set up local testing infrastructure and continuous integration system.
  • Work with designers to define the UI/UX.
  • Maintain code for macOS, iOS, and Web platforms.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience and/or education must include: Data Structures and algorithmic analysis.
  • MacOS or iOS development.
  • APIs.
  • Systems analysis and design.
  • Development in Swift using Xcode.
  • Web development.
  • Testing writing under Quick/Nimble/XCTest framework.
  • Implemented test automation under Cucumber and Protractor frameworks.
