We do this by combining technology, science, innovation and creativity to build new customer-facing features and experiences alongside intuitive tools for marketers. You will be responsible for creating products that help customers to shop cross-category, easily discover new ideas, new categories and new brands and have fun while shopping. Through leveraging machine-learning models, you will drive opportunities to automate Amazon’s cross-category marketing and merchandising and will help to deliver the best possible shopping experience for Amazon’s customers all over the globe. You will also be working on building automated systems that merchandize Amazon stores at scale. You will be using AWS services to build automation. We believe in regular feature development and frequent experimentation, allowing us to continuously improve the customer experience. You will have the opportunity to explore the many channels Amazon provides for customer outreach and engagement across multiple channels (retail website, email, display). As a Software Development Engineer on our team, you will bring your ability to dive deep into the most complex technical problems to take our products to the next level. You will enhance the functionality of existing systems, increase our ability to scale, and build new systems, contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. You will use your strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment. As a part of our team, you will deliver robust features, intuitive designs, back-end services and user interfaces that make it easy for customers to find relevant products in Amazon.
