Here, you'll do more than join something - you'll add something. In this role, you will be responsible for shipping world-class user experiences and act as the voice of our end-users. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will help with developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools for exercising various features of Siri and continuously look for ways to improve and enhance system reliability and performance. This role requires strong programming fundamentals and automation experience to help in all phases of the product release cycle. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automation frameworks which involve deep integration and close collaboration with a multi-functional team of Software Development & QA engineers, architects, program managers, and other domain experts.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and continuously evolve automated test frameworks.
  • Monitor CI performance and analyze test results.
  • Conduct test triage and reporting.
  • Identify gaps in existing test plans and close them with scalability and maintainability in mind.
  • Drive quality work and advocate for quality in the overall software development process.

Requirements

  • Strong programming fundamentals and automation experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with strong technical and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the Apple development ecosystem using Xcode, Xcode Cloud, and XCTest/XCUITest.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Machine Learned (ML) systems and associated qualification approaches.
  • Creative problem solver with a knack for building scalable solutions in a collective and multi-functional space.
  • Highly organized with strong planning skills to estimate, update, and communicate progress.
