About the position

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will help drive automation and quality practices within a scrum team to ensure our product is held to the highest standards before being placed in front of clients. We work in a fast-paced, continuous integration, continuous delivery ecosystem, so the challenges of thorough, independent and reliable automation create interesting problems that we aim to solve with cutting edge, open-source Examine business requirements and work alongside engineering to develop and execute comprehensive test plans at both the product and system integration level.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with team members through design discussions, code reviews, debugging sessions, and promoting best practices that foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the automation roadmap and improve testing efficiency by creating automation tests and enhancing automation frameworks.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other system limitations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similarly technical/quantitative field; equivalent work or project experience.
  • 2+ years of software development experience, with a focus on creating or maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, JavaScript, Go, Python.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and at least one public cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing automated tests.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Octopus, Github).
