About the position

If you have ever asked Alexa a question like 'What are healthy foods for kids?' - chances are, our team helped answer it. We are a small but ambitious group of engineers and scientists building state of the art solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate billions of high-quality product fact across the Amazon catalog. In fact, if you have browsed any product page on Amazon, you have likely read content written by our models. With millions of new and updated products added to the catalog every day, we're just getting started - and there's never been a more exciting time to join us. As an engineer on the team, you will collaborate closely with a tight-knit group of software engineers, applied scientists, and product managers to push the boundaries of customer experience through agile, innovative development. You will be at the forefront of building core infrastructure that powers running Large Language Models (LLMs) at Amazon scale - generating product facts from product inputs like titles, descriptions, and images, across 15+ languages. You will deploy these models using next-generation science and AWS technologies, including Kubernetes (EKS), to ensure high availability, scalability, and impact across Amazon's global retail catalog. Your work won't just be behind the scenes - the outputs of your systems will directly power product detail pages seen by millions of customers. Beyond engineering, you'll help shape our technical vision, influence business strategy, and drive the team's long-term roadmap.
