About the position
The Central Automation team is responsible for delivering frameworks and methodologies via XCTest that assist in QE orgs in automating technical workflows. This includes analyzing the workflows, data and tools that help teams make it an effective, efficient element of their testing strategy. We need a creative engineer to help us explore and implement new technologies to continually improve our approach to achieving outstanding quality. You will work closely with other QE Managers and Automation Engineers across Apple to ensure we are putting the best ideas into our solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver frameworks and methodologies via XCTest for automating technical workflows.
- Analyze workflows, data, and tools to enhance testing strategies.
- Explore and implement new technologies to improve quality.
- Collaborate with QE Managers and Automation Engineers across Apple.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Two years of directly related work experience can substitute for the education requirement.
- Proven experience leading and growing small-to-medium-sized engineering teams.
- Strong development skills in Swift, Objective-C, C++, or similar languages.

- Proven ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies.
