Ensure all existing and future services provided are resilient to outages by leveraging industry standard patterns to architect reliable services. Participate in a 24/7 rotational on-call network, operational and application level experience for all support services. Build tools and extend existing automation to improve service delivery. Experience with modern computer hardware and software to maintain reliable production services. This will include experience ranging from Linux OS, understanding of network technologies, implementing large scale tools (DNS, Load Balancing, Cache, Datastores) and writing software. Assist in capacity planning for supported services ranging from Java, Golang, and Python apps to common internet technologies (Cassandra, Redis, Nginx, Envoy, Kubernetes, Kafka). 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400- $ 204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
