We are presently seeking a Software Development and Test Engineer that will make vital contributions to new technology and product development for our growing range of cutting-edge optical engine products.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of complex custom test stations with primary responsibility for test station software
• Develop, automate, and code custom test software for R D and manufacturing
• Support existing test software to maintain manufacturing uptime targets
• Work closely with interdisciplinary design team to develop and execute verification testing procedures for new products and product re-verification
• Participate in the product development process, including gate reviews, training, documentation, and transfer to manufacturing

Requirements

• BS or Master-Level in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related field
• 5+ years Test Engineering experience
• In depth knowledge of programming languages including VB6, VB.net, C/C++, and C#
• Experience with modern software design and verification processes (ex. JIRA, Git)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with LabView highly desired
• Proficiency in MATLAB to support experimentation and data analysis
• Hands-on lab skills with optical equipment such as optical spectrum analyzers (OSAs), oscilloscopes, power meters, fiber optics, and data acquisition a plus
• Strong communication with Microsoft Office Suite
