Software Engineer 3 - Annapolis Junction, MD

About the position

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer (SWE) with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and Kafka. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with AWS/ECR Suite and RKE. This position requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles and practices, as well as the ability to work on complex programs and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement and manage databases using MongoDB.
• Integrate messaging systems using Kafka.
• Utilize AWS/ECR Suite for cloud-based solutions.
• Work with RKE for container orchestration.

Requirements

• Twelve (12) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
