If so, our team is searching for a Software Engineer to work with a team of other software engineers, network and systems engineers to craft, implement, and deploy software which meet customer's requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments. Our team participates and leads in architecture and design of various software components using technologies such as virtualization, micro services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms and technologies. We work on technical assignments that are semi routine or greenfield in nature, but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice! Our SWE's normally follow established procedures on routine work and require instructions only on new assignments. Responsibilities
- Supports engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise associate engineers on occasion.
- Understands system protocols, system operations, and data flows. Is aware of the benefits of current technologies. Expected to independently develop a complete software stack.
- Design and integrate AI/ML models into intelligent applications using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Azure ML.
- Build, deploy, and maintain applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) using services like Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, and serverless components.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters for scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
- Design and develop robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using modern backend frameworks, ensuring integration with AI models and data sources.
- Collaborates with technical teams and uses system expertise to deliver technical solutions.
- Continuously learns new technologies.
- Writes basic documentation on how technology works. Contributes clear documentation for new code and systems used.
- Contributes to emerging technologies to deliver business goals.
- Presents new ideas which improve an existing system/process/service using new frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (Required)
- 2-4 years of technical engineering experience (Required)
- Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, utilizing services like Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, and other serverless components.
- Experience in designing and integrating AI/ML models into intelligent applications using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Azure ML.
- Skilled in designing and developing robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python/R, Java/Scala, and/or Go (Preferred)
- 2+ years of experience delivering high-quality ML models in production environments (Preferred)
