Responsibilities
- Build and manage tools to accelerate AI model inference, training, and validation
- Develop internal tools for managing key internal processes, including dataset creation, data management (e.g. video creation), and results evaluation
- Develop models that general panoramic images from a series of camera images and provide mappings forward and backward between these two domains
- Develop methods to map AI predictions to other data sources utilizing geometric transforms and artificial intelligence
- Enable Pano to scale AI detection by focusing on the overall system lifecycle, including monitoring and improving system reliability and optimizing for platform costs
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience plus a BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience programming in Python
- 2+ years of experience with AI frameworks, like PyTorch
- 2+ years of experience working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Google Cloud
- Experience with distributed computing architectures, especially Ray
- Experience with computer vision, with specific experience in imaging and geometry
- Experience with containerization including Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD
- Strong technical communication skills
