About the position
Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, build, iterate and deploy exciting new product features.
- Work with other engineers within our direct team and throughout Photos to continuously improve our software components and architecture.
- Identify, triage, debug, track and resolve issues in existing code.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- 2 years of experience in Android application development.
Nice-to-haves
- 3 years of experience with Java/Kotlin and data structures and algorithms.
- 2 years of experience building Android software products.
