Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver user-friendly, state-of-the-art Azure services to provide world-class user experiences on Azure.
  • Work together with the team to ensure service quality, availability, and reliability.
  • Participate in live-site and customer support to ensure customers using our services have a great experience.
  • Participate in a regularly scheduled on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ year experience writing detections within big data and SIEM solutions such as ArcSight, Splunk, ElasticSearch, Logstash, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Data Lake, or Azure Sentinel.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, with experience in LLMs, prompt engineering, or autonomous agents.
  • Experience with Azure AI Studio or legacy Azure AI products.
  • Skilled working with extremely large data sets to answer complex and ambiguous questions, using tools and languages like: SQL, KQL, Jupyter Notebooks, Spark, Azure Synapse, R, U-SQL, Python, Splunk, Scala, and PowerBI.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical details with varying levels of management.
  • Experience with software engineering tools such as CI/CD, Azure DevOps, git, and Agile Scrum.
  • Background/familiarity with AI, prompt engineering, and Large Language Models.
  • Experience with Windows, Azure, and O365.

Benefits

  • Base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year.
  • Different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
