As part of the Supply Chain Innovation team, you will play a pivotal role in building end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Apple's Supply Chain needs, ranging from Supply Planning and Demand Planning to Product Distribution and beyond. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to define and implement solutions that optimize Apple's internal business processes. We are seeking an individual who thrives on tackling challenges and finding creative solutions. The ideal candidate should excel in collaborative environments and produce high-quality software under tight deadlines. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work independently, while collaborating effectively with multi-functional teams across the globe (US, Singapore, India, and Europe). This role will have a direct impact on Apple's business, requiring interaction with various internal teams to deliver cutting-edge products in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, and optimize highly scalable, distributed systems, leveraging cloud-native technologies and micro services architecture to build robust and resilient solutions.
- Contribute to proof-of-concept projects and pilot implementations to showcase new ideas.
- Continuously strive for excellence by continuously seeking ways to enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
- Actively contribute to debugging and resolving issues as part of the development process.
- Develop system components and take full responsibility for the timely delivery, quality of the work.
- Collaborate effectively with product owners, developers, QA teams, support teams, and end users.
- Tackle complex technical challenges, drive innovation, and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies.
- Collaborate seamlessly with contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Occasionally, will need to handle application production (warranty) support.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with various teams.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering and RAG is a plus.
- AI/ML related experience is a plus.
