We are searching for a rising Software Engineer Intern to join our Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team. The candidate will join the UI team and participate in design, development, and testing of web-based user interfaces. The greater team is building and deploying a next-generation modeling & simulation framework. We are less focused on specific M&S experience than finding innovative, self-starters who can adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile development effort.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design, development, and testing of web-based user interfaces.
- Contribute to the development of a next-generation modeling & simulation framework.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of a 3.5 GPA (please list on your resume).
- US citizenship.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience developing web APIs (preferably .NET 5/6/7 or Java).
- Experience with ICAM (identity, credential, and access management) systems and concepts such as OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak, OpenID, or similar.
- Familiarity with DoD security practices.
