About the position
The Software Engineer develops integrations between multiple DMP platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develops integrations between multiple DMP systems to increase productivity.
- Resolves problems and meets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
- Documents tasks in JIRA.
- Prepares daily status updates for Director of Information Technology.
- Engages in team code inspections and supports DMP coding standards.
- Develops in-depth knowledge of security industry and its products.
- Researches technologies applied in other industries, namely the computer and communications industries, for possible applications in the security industry.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Ability to understand and debug programming languages and frameworks including PHP, Java, and Codeignitor.
- Experience with web design and UI/UX.
- Experience with scaling web applications.
- Experience working with and creating API's (SOAP, REST, and JSON).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
