Software Engineer (Payments Engineer)

About the position

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a technical engineering role that requires a blend of experience in software development, release management, deployment engineering, and technical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology infrastructure and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships across various levels of the organization, as well as with vendors. This position also involves analyzing data to identify trends and operational issues, and implementing strategies for improvement. The candidate should be prepared to lead teams and projects, with a willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community, and with vendors.
• Analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
• Identify operational issues and recommend and implement strategies to resolve problems.
• Lead direct and cross-functional teams effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in a technical engineering role, or High school/GED and at least 6 years of experience in a technical engineering role.
• Experience in technology infrastructure, such as Network, Monitoring, Systems, Databases, etc.
• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues and trends.
• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending strategies to resolve problems.
• At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mathematics.
• Experience identifying the relationship of bugs to software code.
• Experience with C++ and Java.
• Knowledge of Azure Process.
• Experience with Payment Systems.
• Experience with PCI Compliance.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $102800 - $164400 / Salaried
