As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. As a Software Engineer Sr, you will be part of an Agile engineering team where you will be responsible for technical design and development within our Asset Management line of business. Additionally, you will work with our testers to address bugs or defects and propose & design solutions. This position would require fluidity and flexibility, as this is not a role with specific guidelines where you will perform the same tasks on a day to day basis. As a Software Engineer Sr, you will also be responsible for serving as a mentor for other members of the team. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
- University / college degree or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service).
