Aquila is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle application development.
  • Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
  • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
  • Software modeling and simulation.
  • Front end graphical user interface design.
  • Software testing and quality assurance.
  • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
  • Supports, maintains and documents software functionality.
  • Integrates software with existing systems.
  • Evaluates and identifies new technologies for implementation.
  • Maintains standards compliance.
  • Implements localization or globalization of software.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S Citizen (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
  • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance.
  • Must be within commutable distance of Lexington, Massachusetts.
