As a Software Engineer within PNC's Technology - Corporate & Institutional Banking organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. As a Software Engineer on our Healthcare Imagine (HCI) team, some of your responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Receive images of Explanation of Benefits (EOB), on behalf of our healthcare clients, and use IOCR (Intelligent Optical Character Recognition) technology and in-house applications to create industry standard files for input to our Healthcare Advantage (HCA) platform. Work on Agile Kanban team to develop, maintain, and enhance AnyDoc Templates. Work closely with Business Analysts and QA Testers. Work with Private Health Information (PHI) and will need HIPAA training/certification. Problem solve to determine best course of action related to IOCR efficiency. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • University / college degree or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience.
  • Knowledge of Application Development, Business Management, Customer Solutions, Design, Group Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Release Management, Software Solutions, User Experience (UX) Design.
