About the position
As a Software Engineer at Mad Mobile, you will be pivotal in defining, developing, and delivering innovative solutions that revolutionize the retail and restaurant industries. Your expertise in technical leadership, project management, and collaboration will be essential in driving the success of our engineering projects. Additionally, leveraging AI-powered tools and frameworks will be crucial in optimizing development processes, automating tasks, and enhancing software capabilities.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a deep understanding of building and deploying applications with cutting-edge technologies & AI tools.
- Proven experience as a full-stack developer, with a solid understanding of programming languages including but not limited to JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS. Familiarity with NestJS is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Experience in integrating and leveraging AI-driven development tools to enhance efficiency, such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs, TensorFlow, Cursor or other machine learning frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement of applications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with JavaScript programming and proficiency in related technologies (ReactJS, TypeScript, NodeJS). Exposure to NestJS is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks, including OpenAI APIs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of mobile app development or mobile-responsive web design.
- Relevant certifications in TypeScript, APIs, AI/ML technologies, and related fields.
