Over time, they have acquired other companies and expanded into multiple product areas including rheology, microcalorimetry, thermal conductivity & diffusivity, dilatometry, rubber testing systems, and dynamic mechanical characterization. Job Description:
* Research, design, develop and release/maintain micro-processor/micro-controller firmware for instrumentation
* Design of the embedded code for new or existing systems in c and c++ (50% of the time)Troubleshoot/test and analysis at the system/sub-system level (50% of the time)
* RTOS and/or Linux (preferred)
Qualifications:
* BS in Computer Science engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
* Minimum of 2 years experience with C/C++ programming experience.
* Embedded firmware experience utilizing modern RTOS tools, preferably Linux.
* Experience with low-level embedded processing and hardware interface (device drivers, DSP).
* Experince with ARM7 processors, or similar microprocessors.
