You will be working closely with our technology partners and help us evolve our existing products into a well-designed, flexible and highly scalable platform to meet the companys immediate and long term business goals. Job Responsibilities: We are currently hiring a Sr. Software Engineer in our Needham, MA office. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the desire to work with teams that are passionate about lean startup principles, innovation and creating amazing customer experiences. As a Sr. Software Engineer you will be developing web applications for cutting edge telephony products and will be very hands on in Design, Architecture, Engineering, and Quality Assurance and helping drive a road-map for existing and new product development. In this position, you will: * Develop cutting edge web applications using JavaScript, JQuery, Microsoft .NET Frameworks. HTML, CSS, and other front end JavaScript frameworks. * Participate and lead the activities of our Agile products teams. * Represent the Engineering team and collaborate with other departments of the organization including Marketing, Sales, Support, etc. * Conduct design reviews, analysis, code reviews, write user stories, unit and acceptance testing, deployments and production support. * Design and implement critical pieces of the Grasshopper product platform from ideas to production as new product innovations are conceptualized and eventually created. * Work closely with onsite and co-located teams with Grasshopper and Citrix teams in the United States and overseas. * Mockup and design new interfacesboth graphical and APIwith an eye for good UX. * Understand the architecture, tech stack, and roadmap for existing legacy and new products that are developed. Job Qualifications: * At least 2-3 years of professional, hands-on experience in analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment of commercial, complex, secure and custom-built web applications. * 3+ years experience with front-end frameworks like Backbone/Angular/Ember/React.js. * 3+ years experience in web front end development using JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS. * Experience in web development using C#, ASP.NET, MVC and related frameworks in Microsoft .NET ecosystem. * Knowledge and experience with software development best practices like Object Oriented Programming, Loose Coupling, High Cohesion, TDD/BDD, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) etc. * Experience with Photoshop/Illustrator and mockup tools such as Balsamiq a plus * Experience with usage and contribution to Open Source would be a great advantage. * Knowledge of platforms like AWS, Heroku, Rackspace etc would be handy. * Experience or willingness to work with teams following Agile methodologies like XP/Scrum. * Experience or willingness to work with remote/distributed teams.
