If so, Our Defense Systems Team wants you to join our FROST Software Team as a Principal Engineer Software or Senior Principal Engineer Software based out of Schriever SFB, in Colorado Springs, CO. The FROST Software team works in a dynamic environment to develop new containerized software and maintain existing software for different needs on the program: We maintain software used to remotely establish connections for status & control of ground equipment. We also maintain software that handles scheduling of on-orbit contacts, and orbit calculations. We write software that supports launch operations with trajectory calculations for the SpaceX and ULA vendors. We provide customized telemetry processing solutions for special program requirements. We develop React-based user interfaces for operator interaction. We write microservices that interact with a variety of vendor interfaces for data processing. We deploy new containerized applications in Kubernetes environments. We respond to new customer requests by extend and enhancing existing capabilities and creating new ones where needed.
