The Special Education Teacher (ISEC) at Woodland Elementary School is responsible for assisting students in remedying academic and behavioral delays. This role involves consulting with school staff regarding appropriate behavioral and academic interventions for students in both regular and special education. The position is within a self-contained classroom setting. The teacher will implement the Woodland District 50 curriculum, including Response to Intervention (RtI) and Common Core State Standards, while contributing to a positive school climate through the support of the district's Strategic Plan and Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) program.
