About the position

Step into an exhilarating role where you'll be at the forefront of innovation in the Life Insurance sector, specifically focusing on Term and Whole Life product lines. As a Marketing Management Specialist, you'll collaborate closely with our dynamic business development partners and visionary leaders to shape the future of our offerings. This hybrid position will be based in Columbus, OH. Candidates located near a Nationwide campus will collaborate in office 3 days per week and enjoy the flexibility of remote work the remaining days. Current Nationwide Remote Associates will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation and execution of cutting-edge marketing strategies that elevate our Life Insurance products.
  • Infuse fresh, creative ideas into our marketing campaigns, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Work hand-in-hand with industry-leading business development teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives.
  • Be part of a highly engaged Life Marketing team, committed to achieving outstanding results and exceeding expectations.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities, ensuring our strategies are always ahead of the curve.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategies and plans that ensure long term sustainable growth of the business.
  • Assist with the completion of moderate to complex projects and processes within area of responsibility to deliver results.
  • Assist with implementation of digital and traditional marketing tactics and media.
  • Collaborate on and assist with creative development and provide feedback on look and feel.
  • Use customer insights and analytics to understand and assist in forecasting market, competitor and customer needs.
  • Monitor timelines to ensure programs are on strategy and on schedule.

Requirements

  • A foundation of knowledge in Life Insurance, particularly term and whole life products, is helpful but not required.
  • Experience working on marketing execution, with a track record of driving impactful results.
  • A knack for innovative thinking and the ability to bring new ideas to life.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • A highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering excellence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical insurance designations such as CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI considered a plus.
  • Typically five or more years demonstrated professional experience in marketing, strategy, consulting, financial services, or related field.
